Our Predictions for 2025 Fashion Trends

Yes, You hear it. Ballet Pink. The “Miu Miu Ballerina Slippers” trend develops even more this year! Last year’s runways have shown that ballet pink is one of this year’s colors. The other color of the year is also coming up in this article. This trend of course isn’t going to be exactly as shown in the runways, but the color itself will definitely be shown this year. This color will be translated in many different aesthetics: from the most obvious, balletcore all the way to coquette.
How To Style
The most common ways we’ve seen this trend styled so far is pairing the the ballet pink with another color, having the ballet pink as the main accent piece of the outfit, and having a full pink outfit either monochromatic (not shown) or with multiple shades of pink. As far as accent pieces go and general trends that you can mash together, we suggests an oversized blazer, pink tights, or of course the infamous Miu Miu ballet slippers.

Next, this is a trend that can be easily accomplished with most of people’s current wardrobe. Most people have some sort of athleisure-wear in their closet and the easiest way to make it chic, is to quite literally pair it with something chic. There’s no specific color theme for this trend but we predict to see this trend lean more towards darker shades. Also, this trend is a prime example of mixing masculine and feminine elements of fashion to create an intentional, diverse look.
How To Style
The easiest way to style this look is to find any “sports-leisure” that you have and combining it with things that don’t normally go with it. We categorize sports-leisure as anything made by Nike, Adidas, etc. and any loungewear like hoodies, sweatpants, and sweatshirt. We categorize “things that don’t normally go with it” as blazers, button up shirts, and shoulder bags. To execute this look, it’s important to mix and match! Get out of the box and experiment with different patterns.

Drop it like it’s hot… pants. Daisy dukes are making a comeback! Or atleast something of the sort. If you don’t know what hot pants are, hot pants are basically micro shorts. If you have been living under a rock like we have, hot pants have been all the rage in last year’s runways. From an “office siren” vibe from Dolce & Gabanna to a pastel look from Versace, hot pants are starting to take over. That being said, the ways to style hot pants are infinite. They can easily be styled in a classy way or even in a casual way and by the looks of it… there’s no excuse not to wear hot pants this year!
How To Style
The best way to style this look is to make it simple. We’ve seen this trend paired well with boots but can also see this look pairing well with sambas, ballet flats, or even mary janes. You can style this trend with a textured or patterned micro short and make it the accent (as shown on the left). A texture that is most popular (besides plain) for hot pants is sequins. Yes, sequins. Also, layering the shorts with belts have been popular and gives a “bohemian” aesthetic to the trend. And no, the color black is not a requirement for the trend.

Stripes are definitely in this year. Not just striped though, BOLD stripes. Honestly, what’s the point of wearing stripes if you’re not going to be bold with the anyway? Marni proved this theory right in their runways from last year. The mixing of the colors with stripes makes the look more elevated. A look we also like from Monse is absolutely amazing with an oversized play of a polo. If you haven’t already guessed it, polos in general are huge this year. Especially with the “sporty chic” aesthetic, polos are one of the easiest ways to make something “old money sporty.”
How To Style
We know you see the double-trend crossover with the look on the left. This just goes to prove that we know what we’re talking about. Nevertheless, stripes are in. Most commonly in the forms of polos and micro shorts. With the polos, wearing micro shorts, a mini skirt, or oversized baggy pants are the most common ways they’ve been styled. For micro shorts, a simple baby tee or long sleeve is the most common way we’ve seen that styled. Because stripes are typically masculine, pairing the outfit with feminine shoes like flats or mary janes will make the biggest impact.

Boho is back! The 60s are screaming and it feels great! Boho truly never went away and we don’t think that its going anywhere anytime soon. The “bohemian” aesthetic is actually evolving as fashion houses like Chloé are mixing different textiles, like leather, with the classic bohemian textiles: linen, lace, crochet, etc.
How To Style
Shades of brown, whites, and maybe a baby blue (here and there). Boom. That’s the color palette. Textiles are sheer, suede, and brown leather. The more western, the better. You get a gold star if there are tassels of if you’re wearing any variation of a cowboy boot. Thick belts are invited but not necessary. And gold jewelry is a MUST.

And finally, you’ve come to the other color of the year, Butter Yellow. We predict that this trend will be more common in the summer time because yellow is naturally a “summer color” as it is warm. Phillip Lim has one of the best interpretations when it comes to how this trend translates from the runway. It’s one of the best monochromatic looks (the middle one) and proves that monochromatic doesn’t equal boring.
How To Style
As previously mentioned, yellow is predicted to show up predominantly in the summer time. That being said, it’s styling will reflect that. Breathable textiles like cotton and linen will be beneficial in that time. Also, like ballet pink, the best way that this look has been styled is with a completely monochromatic look or a look with multiple shades of light yellow. This will bring classiness to the look which is perfect for juxtaposing the playfulness that the yellow has.
And perfect for you, we know exactly where to find the dress (left) that screams cute, effortless, and elevated: Miss Circle
In conclusion, these were all of the trends that we predict are going to be totally in for 2025. From colors to whole aesthetics, I fear we may be correct on plenty on them.
